SPD was founded in September 2011.

SPD’s mission is to create high-quality environment for work and life. We do every project with professional standard and elaborate work, aiming to realize our design locally and specifically.

SPD collaborate with international and domestic design institutions to create demonstrative and innovative projects. We have won many awards including UN’s global human settlements award on planning and design, Asian Townscape Award etc. We offer specialized and reliable design service.

INTERNATIONAL VISION

The key designers of SPD have years of experience with world-class enterprises and universities. The team is consisted of professions of economy, city planning, urban design, architecture, landscape and artistic design, and provide international and localized design services for governments and research institutions all over the world.

INNOVATION DESIGN

Based on rational analysis of ecological sensitivity, economic vitality, social capability and cultural activity, SPD adapt methods of Art Oriented Urban Design (AUD) and parameterization landscape design to our projects, managing to create eco-friendly and harmonious livable environment.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

SPD held several workshops with foreign universities, which provide opportunities for young designers. Mr. Li Fengyu, the founder of SPD is the chief consulting expert of sustainability committee of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), also an expert member of the ecological city committee of Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, and senior planning consultant for many cities.

PROJECT PRACTICE

SPD’s projects target on China’s first-tier cities, provincial capitals and leisure resort destinations, and won many national and provincial level awards in competitions. Our clients include Beijing municipal planning commission, Beijing new airport, Hefei government and Shenzhen public works department etc. Our practices include waterfront environment, hi-tech parks and urban core area regeneration.

SPD Shenzhen Branch was founded in October 2016, aiming to serve South China. SPD Chengdu Branch was founded in January 2020, aiming to serve Southwest China.
