DESIGN OF QINGLAN BRIDGE'S ART RECONSTRUCTION ON HUANGSHAN PUXI RIVER
Qinglan bridge, Huangshan District, Huangshan City, is a solid web stone arch bridge with a net span of 13 meters and a width of 5 meters, which was built in the 1970s. As a result of river reconstruction, Qinglan bridge has entered the flood discharge area near the school side, reducing the flood discharge capacity of the river. But as an old bridge, it has a certain value of reservation. After many arguments, it is proposed to keep part of the Qinglan bridge and abandon its traffic function.
The purpose of reconstruction is to preserve and display the aesthetic and historical value of Qinglan bridge. To show respect for the original materials, any inevitable addition needs to be different from the original bridge structure, and modern marks should be added. By retaining the bridge body and renewing the bridge deck to the maximum extent, we adopt the supporting structure of stainless steel with outer mirror surface, the entrance space decorated by box type transformer, and forming a landscape with the square on the opposite bank to complete the artistic transformation of Qinglan bridge.
